It is located at an elevation of about 2,000 m, at a distance of 100 km north from Mingora and around 5 hours drive from Islamabad. There are several evident mountains around the hotel which are also visible from Matiltan, a valley close to Kalam Valley, including Mount Falak Sar at 5,918 m, and another unnamed peak at 6,096 m.
